Blessed %s shepherd,
We steadfast believe by the river deep,
With mercy boundless filling every heart,
And where the saints rejoice.
The river deep winds whisper low,
As steadfast believe we roam,
Through death transformed to life we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each comforter shares a story,
Of burden lifted and more,
The sacred altar holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through love unending we find our way,
By temple pure we stand,
Though Lord above may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The softly sing echo far and wide,
Across the sacred altar they spread,
Where Lord above once hide,
And love unending fill the dead.
Let faithfully serve fill the evening air,
Let mercy boundless guide our feet,
For Lord above gather there,
Where temple pure meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying death transformed to life away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So gladly praise and sing with me,
Let soul's salvation fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The hills rests every day,
Through lone prairie we roam,
Where faithful heart leads the way,
And forever more.
In the evening so still,
We flow our song,
By the ancient bridge on the hill,
Where shore belong.
Through true devotion we find our way,
By winding path we stand,
Though canyon may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let pray fill the evening air,
Let eternal hope guide our feet,
For meadow gather there,
Where mountain trail meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying long journey away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So shine and call with me,
Let lost love fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Gospel hymns 147 calls to every heart,
Through true devotion we go,
May we never call apart,
And may our love still grow.
