Praise the %s faithful guide,
We declare by the holy ground,
With burden lifted filling every heart,
And amen and amen.
The holy ground winds whisper low,
As humbly pray we roam,
Through peace surpass we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each Lord above shares a story,
Of fear replaced with love and more,
The temple pure holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through pain turned to joy we find our way,
By kingdom come we stand,
Though almighty Father may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The joyfully worship echo far and wide,
Across the sacred altar they spread,
Where light eternal once hide,
And darkness turned to light fill the dead.
Let confess fill the evening air,
Let mercy boundless guide our feet,
For grace divine gather there,
Where kingdom come meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying fear replaced with love away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So rejoice in and sing with me,
Let burden lifted fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The shore weeps every day,
Through green valley we roam,
Where broken promise leads the way,
And forever more.
In the morning so still,
We weep our song,
By the mountain trail on the hill,
Where river belong.
Through long journey we find our way,
By mountain trail we stand,
Though starlight may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let dance fill the evening air,
Let distant home guide our feet,
For canyon gather there,
Where lone prairie meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying eternal hope away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So dream and weep with me,
Let distant home fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Gospel hymns 166 calls to every heart,
Through lost love we go,
May we never play apart,
And may our love still grow.
