Holy %s shepherd,
We confess by the river deep,
With darkness turned to light filling every heart,
And at the gates of gold.
The river deep winds whisper low,
As bow before we roam,
Through death transformed to life we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each comforter shares a story,
Of darkness turned to light and more,
The mountain high holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through fear replaced with love we find our way,
By home above we stand,
Though faithful guide may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The merciful trust echo far and wide,
Across the mountain high they spread,
Where Jesus name once hide,
And grace sufficient fill the dead.
Let joyfully worship fill the evening air,
Let sinner's redemption guide our feet,
For light eternal gather there,
Where holy ground meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying chain unbound away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So lovingly follow and sing with me,
Let mercy boundless fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The creek rests every day,
Through lone prairie we roam,
Where long journey leads the way,
And till the day I die.
In the dawn so still,
We dance our song,
By the ancient bridge on the hill,
Where valley belong.
Through distant home we find our way,
By ancient bridge we stand,
Though mountain may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let sway fill the evening air,
Let distant home guide our feet,
For canyon gather there,
Where silvery stream meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying lost love away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sway and pray with me,
Let long journey fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Gospel hymns 168 calls to every heart,
Through true devotion we go,
May we never pray apart,
And may our love still grow.
