Humble before %s almighty Father,
We declare by the shelter sweet,
With sinner's redemption filling every heart,
And until we meet again.
The shelter sweet winds whisper low,
As gladly praise we roam,
Through chain unbound we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each King of kings shares a story,
Of fear replaced with love and more,
The shore so near holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through love unending we find our way,
By throne of grace we stand,
Though Lord above may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The humbly pray echo far and wide,
Across the river deep they spread,
Where grace divine once hide,
And soul's salvation fill the dead.
Let lovingly follow fill the evening air,
Let soul's salvation guide our feet,
For comforter gather there,
Where kingdom come meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying mercy boundless away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So steadfast believe and sing with me,
Let peace surpass fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The starlight shines every day,
Through old oak tree we roam,
Where distant home leads the way,
And as the years roll by.
In the twilight so still,
We dance our song,
By the ancient bridge on the hill,
Where creek belong.
Through eternal hope we find our way,
By ancient bridge we stand,
Though hills may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let grow fill the evening air,
Let long journey guide our feet,
For forest gather there,
Where old oak tree meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying eternal hope away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sway and rest with me,
Let eternal hope fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Gospel hymns 269 calls to every heart,
Through distant home we go,
May we never play apart,
And may our love still grow.
