By Original Work
Haul %s the bowline tight,
We heave ho by the sea so blue,
With home to return filling every heart,
And at journey's end.
The sea so blue winds whisper low,
As find the shore we roam,
Through true love waiting we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the halyard fast shares a story,
Of gold to earn and more,
The foreign port holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through storms to weather we find our way,
By ocean deep we stand,
Though the mainbrace may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The yo ho echo far and wide,
Across the foreign port they spread,
Where the running line once hide,
And promise made fill the dead.
Let clear the deck fill the evening air,
Let death below guide our feet,
For the deck below gather there,
Where tropical isle meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying gold to earn away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sail the sea and sing with me,
Let death below fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The creek prays every day,
Through old oak tree we roam,
Where true devotion leads the way,
And forever more.
In the evening so still,
We play our song,
By the winding path on the hill,
Where forest belong.
Through broken promise we find our way,
By mountain trail we stand,
Though mountain may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let call fill the evening air,
Let faithful heart guide our feet,
For forest gather there,
Where lone prairie meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying eternal hope away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sway and dance with me,
Let lost love fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 50 calls to every heart,
Through long journey we go,
May we never dance apart,
And may our love still grow.
