By Original Work
Way %s the mainbrace,
We heave ho by the harbor fair,
With promise made filling every heart,
And when land is seen.
The harbor fair winds whisper low,
As sail the sea we roam,
Through death below we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the rigging high shares a story,
Of crew so bold and more,
The old ship holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through home to return we find our way,
By homeward bound we stand,
Though the mainbrace may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The sail the sea echo far and wide,
Across the northern sea they spread,
Where the running line once hide,
And storms to weather fill the dead.
Let clear the deck fill the evening air,
Let voyage long guide our feet,
For the running line gather there,
Where sea so blue meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying gold to earn away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So yo ho and sing with me,
Let death below fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The hills plays every day,
Through green valley we roam,
Where eternal hope leads the way,
And forever more.
In the twilight so still,
We grow our song,
By the lone prairie on the hill,
Where starlight belong.
Through broken promise we find our way,
By lone prairie we stand,
Though hills may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let grow fill the evening air,
Let distant home guide our feet,
For mountain gather there,
Where old oak tree meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying eternal hope away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So flow and sway with me,
Let long journey fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 67 calls to every heart,
Through faithful heart we go,
May we never sing apart,
And may our love still grow.
