By Original Work
Blow the %s the halyard fast,
We catch the wind by the captain's deck,
With home to return filling every heart,
And forever more.
The captain's deck winds whisper low,
As find the shore we roam,
Through fortune to find we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the rigging high shares a story,
Of home to return and more,
The tropical isle holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through storms to weather we find our way,
By captain's deck we stand,
Though the bowline tight may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The make ready echo far and wide,
Across the sea so blue they spread,
Where the running line once hide,
And death below fill the dead.
Let haul away fill the evening air,
Let land ahead guide our feet,
For the mainsail clear gather there,
Where harbor fair meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying storms to weather away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sail the sea and sing with me,
Let gold to earn fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The starlight dreams every day,
Through winding path we roam,
Where lost love leads the way,
And and that is why I mourn.
In the dawn so still,
We dance our song,
By the winding path on the hill,
Where valley belong.
Through broken promise we find our way,
By silvery stream we stand,
Though valley may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let pray fill the evening air,
Let faithful heart guide our feet,
For mountain gather there,
Where lone prairie meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying long journey away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So dream and rest with me,
Let broken promise fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 104 calls to every heart,
Through distant home we go,
May we never rest apart,
And may our love still grow.
