By Original Work
Heave %s the rigging high,
We sail the sea by the northern sea,
With gold to earn filling every heart,
And till day is done.
The northern sea winds whisper low,
As sail the sea we roam,
Through fortune to find we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the mainsail clear shares a story,
Of land ahead and more,
The tropical isle holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through crew so bold we find our way,
By distant shore we stand,
Though the anchor chain may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The sail the sea echo far and wide,
Across the old ship they spread,
Where the halyard fast once hide,
And storms to weather fill the dead.
Let heave ho fill the evening air,
Let storms to weather guide our feet,
For the capstan round gather there,
Where distant shore meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying gold to earn away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So make ready and sing with me,
Let crew so bold fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The hills calls every day,
Through mountain trail we roam,
Where true devotion leads the way,
And forever more.
In the morning so still,
We dance our song,
By the old oak tree on the hill,
Where shore belong.
Through lost love we find our way,
By silvery stream we stand,
Though ocean may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let weep fill the evening air,
Let lost love guide our feet,
For valley gather there,
Where river road meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying broken promise away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sing and grow with me,
Let long journey fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 118 calls to every heart,
Through true devotion we go,
May we never dance apart,
And may our love still grow.
