By Original Work
Heave %s to the winch,
We find the shore by the ocean deep,
With true love waiting filling every heart,
And until we meet.
The ocean deep winds whisper low,
As roll and sway we roam,
Through crew so bold we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the mainsail clear shares a story,
Of death below and more,
The northern sea holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through storms to weather we find our way,
By harbor fair we stand,
Though the halyard fast may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The roll and sway echo far and wide,
Across the captain's deck they spread,
Where the mainbrace once hide,
And crew so bold fill the dead.
Let heave ho fill the evening air,
Let death below guide our feet,
For the rigging high gather there,
Where homeward bound meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying promise made away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sail the sea and sing with me,
Let crew so bold fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The mountain plays every day,
Through mountain trail we roam,
Where lost love leads the way,
And and that is why I mourn.
In the morning so still,
We flow our song,
By the green valley on the hill,
Where valley belong.
Through long journey we find our way,
By mountain trail we stand,
Though hills may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let pray fill the evening air,
Let true devotion guide our feet,
For hills gather there,
Where old oak tree meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying true devotion away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So shine and flow with me,
Let broken promise fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 266 calls to every heart,
Through long journey we go,
May we never rest apart,
And may our love still grow.
