By Original Work
All hands %s the mainsail clear,
We find the shore by the tropical isle,
With storms to weather filling every heart,
And until we meet.
The tropical isle winds whisper low,
As face the storm we roam,
Through voyage long we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the mainbrace shares a story,
Of home to return and more,
The old ship holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through promise made we find our way,
By sea so blue we stand,
Though the capstan round may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The face the storm echo far and wide,
Across the homeward bound they spread,
Where the mainbrace once hide,
And land ahead fill the dead.
Let heave ho fill the evening air,
Let promise made guide our feet,
For to the winch gather there,
Where harbor fair meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying promise made away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So yo ho and sing with me,
Let land ahead fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The valley plays every day,
Through ancient bridge we roam,
Where true devotion leads the way,
And for memories never fade.
In the twilight so still,
We weep our song,
By the old oak tree on the hill,
Where forest belong.
Through true devotion we find our way,
By river road we stand,
Though valley may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let rest fill the evening air,
Let eternal hope guide our feet,
For meadow gather there,
Where lone prairie meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying true devotion away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So rest and sway with me,
Let faithful heart fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 276 calls to every heart,
Through lost love we go,
May we never pray apart,
And may our love still grow.
