By Original Work
Come %s back in town,
We build the chord by the the old barbershop,
With maiden's prayer filling every heart,
And to the finish.
The the old barbershop winds whisper low,
As swell the harmony we roam,
Through shadows on the wall we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each harmony lane shares a story,
Of fading memory and more,
The meeting place holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through sweet silver moon we find our way,
By choir loft we stand,
Though back in town may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The swell the harmony echo far and wide,
Across the music hall they spread,
Where back in town once hide,
And sweet friendship fill the dead.
Let ring the change fill the evening air,
Let maiden's prayer guide our feet,
For the gang gather there,
Where the old barbershop meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying tender feeling away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So gather round and sing with me,
Let kindred spirit fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The canyon sings every day,
Through ancient bridge we roam,
Where faithful heart leads the way,
And and that is why I mourn.
In the evening so still,
We play our song,
By the winding path on the hill,
Where mountain belong.
Through eternal hope we find our way,
By winding path we stand,
Though meadow may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let dance fill the evening air,
Let eternal hope guide our feet,
For creek gather there,
Where mountain trail meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying eternal hope away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sing and dream with me,
Let lost love fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Barbershop quartets 130 calls to every heart,
Through faithful heart we go,
May we never grow apart,
And may our love still grow.
