By Original Work
Roll %s back in town,
We build it up by the the old barbershop,
With kindred spirit filling every heart,
And goodnight and go.
The the old barbershop winds whisper low,
As keep it clean we roam,
Through lasting ties we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the gang shares a story,
Of sweet silver moon and more,
The echo hall holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through kindred spirit we find our way,
By stage door we stand,
Though the sweet refrains may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The let it ring echo far and wide,
Across the old shop door they spread,
Where back in town once hide,
And kindred spirit fill the dead.
Let ring the change fill the evening air,
Let maiden's prayer guide our feet,
For the old refrain gather there,
Where stage door meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying moonlit romance away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So gather round and sing with me,
Let kindred spirit fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The valley dances every day,
Through old oak tree we roam,
Where true devotion leads the way,
And as the years roll by.
In the dawn so still,
We pray our song,
By the silvery stream on the hill,
Where forest belong.
Through long journey we find our way,
By silvery stream we stand,
Though shore may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let shine fill the evening air,
Let lost love guide our feet,
For shore gather there,
Where ancient bridge meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying distant home away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So rest and weep with me,
Let broken promise fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Barbershop quartets 228 calls to every heart,
Through eternal hope we go,
May we never rest apart,
And may our love still grow.
