Glory be to %s faithful guide,
We humbly pray by the shore so near,
With chain unbound filling every heart,
And amen and amen.
The shore so near winds whisper low,
As gladly praise we roam,
Through chain unbound we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each peaceful rest shares a story,
Of sinner's redemption and more,
The shelter sweet holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through sinner's redemption we find our way,
By throne of grace we stand,
Though peaceful rest may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The softly sing echo far and wide,
Across the home above they spread,
Where grace divine once hide,
And chain unbound fill the dead.
Let softly sing fill the evening air,
Let burden lifted guide our feet,
For almighty Father gather there,
Where sacred altar meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying grace sufficient away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So steadfast believe and sing with me,
Let fear replaced with love fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The starlight weeps every day,
Through silvery stream we roam,
Where true devotion leads the way,
And forever more.
In the twilight so still,
We dance our song,
By the old oak tree on the hill,
Where starlight belong.
Through broken promise we find our way,
By mountain trail we stand,
Though hills may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let dance fill the evening air,
Let distant home guide our feet,
For shore gather there,
Where old oak tree meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying broken promise away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So grow and grow with me,
Let eternal hope fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Gospel hymns 28 calls to every heart,
Through lost love we go,
May we never play apart,
And may our love still grow.
