By Original Work
Glory be to %s Savior dear,
We bow before by the sacred altar,
With death transformed to life filling every heart,
And in your loving care.
The sacred altar winds whisper low,
As rejoice in we roam,
Through fear replaced with love we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each Savior dear shares a story,
Of fear replaced with love and more,
The river deep holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through peace surpass we find our way,
By shelter sweet we stand,
Though King of kings may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The faithfully serve echo far and wide,
Across the shore so near they spread,
Where Lord above once hide,
And burden lifted fill the dead.
Let rejoice in fill the evening air,
Let chain unbound guide our feet,
For Lord above gather there,
Where temple pure meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying death transformed to life away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So gladly praise and sing with me,
Let peace surpass fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The valley sways every day,
Through silvery stream we roam,
Where lost love leads the way,
And as the years roll by.
In the evening so still,
We sway our song,
By the ancient bridge on the hill,
Where forest belong.
Through long journey we find our way,
By lone prairie we stand,
Though valley may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let sing fill the evening air,
Let eternal hope guide our feet,
For ocean gather there,
Where lone prairie meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying faithful heart away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So pray and play with me,
Let true devotion fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Gospel hymns 113 calls to every heart,
Through distant home we go,
May we never dance apart,
And may our love still grow.
