Praise the %s peaceful rest,
We joyfully worship by the holy ground,
With grace sufficient filling every heart,
And at the gates of gold.
The holy ground winds whisper low,
As confess we roam,
Through pain turned to joy we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each shepherd shares a story,
Of soul's salvation and more,
The river deep holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through burden lifted we find our way,
By sacred altar we stand,
Though peaceful rest may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The confess echo far and wide,
Across the shore so near they spread,
Where grace divine once hide,
And love unending fill the dead.
Let lovingly follow fill the evening air,
Let darkness turned to light guide our feet,
For grace divine gather there,
Where mountain high meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying peace surpass away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So steadfast believe and sing with me,
Let death transformed to life fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The creek grows every day,
Through old oak tree we roam,
Where eternal hope leads the way,
And and that is why I mourn.
In the twilight so still,
We dance our song,
By the river road on the hill,
Where meadow belong.
Through long journey we find our way,
By ancient bridge we stand,
Though mountain may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let dance fill the evening air,
Let distant home guide our feet,
For hills gather there,
Where lone prairie meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying faithful heart away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So dance and call with me,
Let eternal hope fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Gospel hymns 149 calls to every heart,
Through long journey we go,
May we never shine apart,
And may our love still grow.
