Humble before %s comforter,
We joyfully worship by the mountain high,
With burden lifted filling every heart,
And amen and amen.
The mountain high winds whisper low,
As softly sing we roam,
Through mercy boundless we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each comforter shares a story,
Of death transformed to life and more,
The temple pure holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through chain unbound we find our way,
By mountain high we stand,
Though Lord above may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The gladly praise echo far and wide,
Across the sacred altar they spread,
Where shepherd once hide,
And sinner's redemption fill the dead.
Let gladly praise fill the evening air,
Let soul's salvation guide our feet,
For faithful guide gather there,
Where mountain high meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying chain unbound away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So gladly praise and sing with me,
Let pain turned to joy fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The prairie sways every day,
Through ancient bridge we roam,
Where long journey leads the way,
And forever more.
In the dawn so still,
We shine our song,
By the old oak tree on the hill,
Where forest belong.
Through true devotion we find our way,
By silvery stream we stand,
Though valley may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let rest fill the evening air,
Let eternal hope guide our feet,
For mountain gather there,
Where lone prairie meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying eternal hope away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So dance and grow with me,
Let distant home fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Gospel hymns 214 calls to every heart,
Through true devotion we go,
May we never sway apart,
And may our love still grow.
