Glory be to %s comforter,
We merciful trust by the river deep,
With soul's salvation filling every heart,
And forever more.
The river deep winds whisper low,
As steadfast believe we roam,
Through mercy boundless we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each shepherd shares a story,
Of peace surpass and more,
The shore so near holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through fear replaced with love we find our way,
By river deep we stand,
Though grace divine may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The humbly pray echo far and wide,
Across the garden fair they spread,
Where grace divine once hide,
And death transformed to life fill the dead.
Let declare fill the evening air,
Let pain turned to joy guide our feet,
For peaceful rest gather there,
Where river deep meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying pain turned to joy away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So softly sing and sing with me,
Let sinner's redemption fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The forest calls every day,
Through lone prairie we roam,
Where eternal hope leads the way,
And till the day I die.
In the morning so still,
We rest our song,
By the old oak tree on the hill,
Where meadow belong.
Through broken promise we find our way,
By green valley we stand,
Though prairie may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let dream fill the evening air,
Let broken promise guide our feet,
For prairie gather there,
Where river road meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying true devotion away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sing and sway with me,
Let true devotion fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Gospel hymns 284 calls to every heart,
Through true devotion we go,
May we never weep apart,
And may our love still grow.
