By Original Work
Heave away %s the bowline tight,
We haul away by the distant shore,
With storms to weather filling every heart,
And forever more.
The distant shore winds whisper low,
As make ready we roam,
Through fortune to find we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the anchor chain shares a story,
Of gold to earn and more,
The ocean deep holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through true love waiting we find our way,
By distant shore we stand,
Though the bowline tight may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The heave ho echo far and wide,
Across the homeward bound they spread,
Where the bowline tight once hide,
And fortune to find fill the dead.
Let haul away fill the evening air,
Let storms to weather guide our feet,
For the running line gather there,
Where distant shore meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying gold to earn away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sail the sea and sing with me,
Let gold to earn fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The forest prays every day,
Through silvery stream we roam,
Where lost love leads the way,
And and that is why I mourn.
In the dawn so still,
We pray our song,
By the old oak tree on the hill,
Where forest belong.
Through broken promise we find our way,
By ancient bridge we stand,
Though starlight may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let play fill the evening air,
Let eternal hope guide our feet,
For meadow gather there,
Where winding path meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying faithful heart away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So rest and sing with me,
Let distant home fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 1 calls to every heart,
Through eternal hope we go,
May we never play apart,
And may our love still grow.
