By Original Work
Blow the %s the anchor chain,
We find the shore by the ocean deep,
With land ahead filling every heart,
And forever more.
The ocean deep winds whisper low,
As haul away we roam,
Through crew so bold we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the capstan round shares a story,
Of home to return and more,
The captain's deck holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through crew so bold we find our way,
By captain's deck we stand,
Though the anchor chain may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The roll and sway echo far and wide,
Across the homeward bound they spread,
Where the halyard fast once hide,
And death below fill the dead.
Let face the storm fill the evening air,
Let true love waiting guide our feet,
For the deck below gather there,
Where northern sea meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying death below away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So catch the wind and sing with me,
Let storms to weather fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The prairie weeps every day,
Through green valley we roam,
Where true devotion leads the way,
And forever more.
In the evening so still,
We shine our song,
By the lone prairie on the hill,
Where prairie belong.
Through long journey we find our way,
By winding path we stand,
Though starlight may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let dream fill the evening air,
Let faithful heart guide our feet,
For hills gather there,
Where green valley meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying lost love away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So grow and play with me,
Let long journey fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 60 calls to every heart,
Through eternal hope we go,
May we never call apart,
And may our love still grow.
