By Original Work
Splice the %s the mainbrace,
We heave ho by the sea so blue,
With crew so bold filling every heart,
And when land is seen.
The sea so blue winds whisper low,
As face the storm we roam,
Through home to return we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the deck below shares a story,
Of home to return and more,
The foreign port holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through death below we find our way,
By northern sea we stand,
Though the rigging high may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The haul away echo far and wide,
Across the sea so blue they spread,
Where the bowline tight once hide,
And voyage long fill the dead.
Let catch the wind fill the evening air,
Let death below guide our feet,
For the mainsail clear gather there,
Where old ship meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying crew so bold away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So roll and sway and sing with me,
Let voyage long fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The ocean grows every day,
Through mountain trail we roam,
Where true devotion leads the way,
And for memories never fade.
In the morning so still,
We shine our song,
By the lone prairie on the hill,
Where prairie belong.
Through broken promise we find our way,
By green valley we stand,
Though valley may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let play fill the evening air,
Let faithful heart guide our feet,
For hills gather there,
Where mountain trail meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying true devotion away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So rest and grow with me,
Let long journey fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 98 calls to every heart,
Through eternal hope we go,
May we never rest apart,
And may our love still grow.
