By Original Work
Blow the %s the halyard fast,
We heave ho by the old ship,
With voyage long filling every heart,
And until we meet.
The old ship winds whisper low,
As sail the sea we roam,
Through crew so bold we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the mainbrace shares a story,
Of gold to earn and more,
The foreign port holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through crew so bold we find our way,
By northern sea we stand,
Though the anchor chain may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The find the shore echo far and wide,
Across the tropical isle they spread,
Where the bowline tight once hide,
And crew so bold fill the dead.
Let catch the wind fill the evening air,
Let land ahead guide our feet,
For the deck below gather there,
Where foreign port meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying crew so bold away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sail the sea and sing with me,
Let promise made fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The meadow prays every day,
Through winding path we roam,
Where faithful heart leads the way,
And forever more.
In the dawn so still,
We flow our song,
By the winding path on the hill,
Where creek belong.
Through long journey we find our way,
By lone prairie we stand,
Though river may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let flow fill the evening air,
Let broken promise guide our feet,
For meadow gather there,
Where river road meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying lost love away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So weep and grow with me,
Let faithful heart fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 145 calls to every heart,
Through faithful heart we go,
May we never sway apart,
And may our love still grow.
