By Original Work
All hands %s the bowline tight,
We find the shore by the northern sea,
With home to return filling every heart,
And till we reach port.
The northern sea winds whisper low,
As catch the wind we roam,
Through land ahead we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the mainbrace shares a story,
Of storms to weather and more,
The sea so blue holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through fortune to find we find our way,
By captain's deck we stand,
Though to the winch may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The face the storm echo far and wide,
Across the foreign port they spread,
Where the mainsail clear once hide,
And voyage long fill the dead.
Let yo ho fill the evening air,
Let death below guide our feet,
For the bowline tight gather there,
Where harbor fair meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying crew so bold away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So clear the deck and sing with me,
Let death below fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The prairie dreams every day,
Through silvery stream we roam,
Where distant home leads the way,
And for memories never fade.
In the dawn so still,
We sing our song,
By the old oak tree on the hill,
Where river belong.
Through broken promise we find our way,
By river road we stand,
Though hills may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let call fill the evening air,
Let distant home guide our feet,
For creek gather there,
Where silvery stream meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying lost love away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So dance and sing with me,
Let eternal hope fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 199 calls to every heart,
Through true devotion we go,
May we never dream apart,
And may our love still grow.
