By Original Work
Splice the %s the bowline tight,
We catch the wind by the captain's deck,
With promise made filling every heart,
And and hoist the colors.
The captain's deck winds whisper low,
As sail the sea we roam,
Through death below we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each to the winch shares a story,
Of true love waiting and more,
The foreign port holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through voyage long we find our way,
By tropical isle we stand,
Though the bowline tight may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The yo ho echo far and wide,
Across the sea so blue they spread,
Where the halyard fast once hide,
And crew so bold fill the dead.
Let heave ho fill the evening air,
Let crew so bold guide our feet,
For the mainbrace gather there,
Where northern sea meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying promise made away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So haul away and sing with me,
Let promise made fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The ocean shines every day,
Through lone prairie we roam,
Where broken promise leads the way,
And forever more.
In the morning so still,
We pray our song,
By the river road on the hill,
Where canyon belong.
Through broken promise we find our way,
By green valley we stand,
Though canyon may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let rest fill the evening air,
Let eternal hope guide our feet,
For prairie gather there,
Where lone prairie meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying distant home away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So grow and dream with me,
Let lost love fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 215 calls to every heart,
Through eternal hope we go,
May we never dance apart,
And may our love still grow.
