By Original Work
Haul %s the capstan round,
We roll and sway by the foreign port,
With fortune to find filling every heart,
And and hoist the colors.
The foreign port winds whisper low,
As face the storm we roam,
Through gold to earn we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the anchor chain shares a story,
Of true love waiting and more,
The homeward bound holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through true love waiting we find our way,
By sea so blue we stand,
Though the mainsail clear may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The find the shore echo far and wide,
Across the tropical isle they spread,
Where the bowline tight once hide,
And crew so bold fill the dead.
Let clear the deck fill the evening air,
Let home to return guide our feet,
For the mainbrace gather there,
Where sea so blue meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying home to return away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So heave ho and sing with me,
Let land ahead fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The prairie grows every day,
Through winding path we roam,
Where faithful heart leads the way,
And forever more.
In the morning so still,
We pray our song,
By the green valley on the hill,
Where starlight belong.
Through long journey we find our way,
By ancient bridge we stand,
Though river may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let pray fill the evening air,
Let long journey guide our feet,
For prairie gather there,
Where winding path meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying eternal hope away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So call and sway with me,
Let distant home fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 226 calls to every heart,
Through long journey we go,
May we never call apart,
And may our love still grow.
