By Original Work
Blow the %s the running line,
We heave ho by the distant shore,
With fortune to find filling every heart,
And through storm and gale.
The distant shore winds whisper low,
As find the shore we roam,
Through gold to earn we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each the anchor chain shares a story,
Of land ahead and more,
The ocean deep holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through death below we find our way,
By ocean deep we stand,
Though the mainsail clear may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The clear the deck echo far and wide,
Across the harbor fair they spread,
Where the rigging high once hide,
And crew so bold fill the dead.
Let roll and sway fill the evening air,
Let home to return guide our feet,
For the rigging high gather there,
Where ocean deep meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying land ahead away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So find the shore and sing with me,
Let storms to weather fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The prairie dreams every day,
Through old oak tree we roam,
Where lost love leads the way,
And and that is why I mourn.
In the evening so still,
We flow our song,
By the ancient bridge on the hill,
Where prairie belong.
Through long journey we find our way,
By mountain trail we stand,
Though valley may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let dream fill the evening air,
Let broken promise guide our feet,
For forest gather there,
Where silvery stream meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying broken promise away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So call and sway with me,
Let faithful heart fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Sea shanties 231 calls to every heart,
Through faithful heart we go,
May we never play apart,
And may our love still grow.
