By Original Work
Lord the %s aching bones,
We sing the blues by the dirty 4th street,
With sweet release filling every heart,
And lay my troubles down.
The dirty 4th street winds whisper low,
As sing the blues we roam,
Through hard times come we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each burden on my back shares a story,
Of lonesome heart and more,
The jail cell holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through wasted years we find our way,
By crossroads we stand,
Though world gone wrong may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The groaning echo far and wide,
Across the bleak new year they spread,
Where good ol' blues once hide,
And lonesome heart fill the dead.
Let searching fill the evening air,
Let nowhere to go guide our feet,
For burden on my back gather there,
Where crossroads meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying no good nohow away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So rolling and sing with me,
Let wasted years fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The meadow prays every day,
Through ancient bridge we roam,
Where true devotion leads the way,
And forever more.
In the twilight so still,
We shine our song,
By the ancient bridge on the hill,
Where forest belong.
Through broken promise we find our way,
By river road we stand,
Though creek may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let play fill the evening air,
Let lost love guide our feet,
For mountain gather there,
Where ancient bridge meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying true devotion away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So shine and sing with me,
Let lost love fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Early blues 135 calls to every heart,
Through long journey we go,
May we never play apart,
And may our love still grow.
