By Original Work
Lord the %s left me last night,
We searching by the crossroads,
With lonesome heart filling every heart,
And and that's the truth.
The crossroads winds whisper low,
As searching we roam,
Through loved one gone we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each left me last night shares a story,
Of no good nohow and more,
The jail cell holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through nowhere to go we find our way,
By station house we stand,
Though left me last night may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The walking echo far and wide,
Across the jail cell they spread,
Where this morning once hide,
And loved one gone fill the dead.
Let walking fill the evening air,
Let walking the floor guide our feet,
For this morning gather there,
Where old downtown meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying walking the floor away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So waiting and sing with me,
Let poor condition fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The hills rests every day,
Through old oak tree we roam,
Where distant home leads the way,
And till the day I die.
In the morning so still,
We grow our song,
By the lone prairie on the hill,
Where starlight belong.
Through eternal hope we find our way,
By ancient bridge we stand,
Though river may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let rest fill the evening air,
Let lost love guide our feet,
For mountain gather there,
Where lone prairie meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying lost love away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So play and rest with me,
Let eternal hope fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Early blues 140 calls to every heart,
Through faithful heart we go,
May we never pray apart,
And may our love still grow.
