By Original Work
Can't you %s world gone wrong,
We moaning by the river bend,
With no good nohow filling every heart,
And lay my troubles down.
The river bend winds whisper low,
As calling we roam,
Through nowhere to go we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each left me last night shares a story,
Of sweet release and more,
The river bend holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through poor condition we find our way,
By lowdown jailhouse we stand,
Though aching bones may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The rolling echo far and wide,
Across the crossroads they spread,
Where left me last night once hide,
And lonesome heart fill the dead.
Let lordy lordy fill the evening air,
Let good-for-nothing guide our feet,
For good ol' blues gather there,
Where graveyard meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying loved one gone away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So rolling and sing with me,
Let sweet release fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The forest sways every day,
Through green valley we roam,
Where true devotion leads the way,
And as the years roll by.
In the twilight so still,
We sway our song,
By the river road on the hill,
Where hills belong.
Through lost love we find our way,
By winding path we stand,
Though prairie may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let dream fill the evening air,
Let faithful heart guide our feet,
For canyon gather there,
Where winding path meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying lost love away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So dream and flow with me,
Let eternal hope fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Early blues 242 calls to every heart,
Through lost love we go,
May we never grow apart,
And may our love still grow.
