By Original Work
Lord the %s aching bones,
We walking by the station house,
With sweet release filling every heart,
And what can I do.
The station house winds whisper low,
As crying we roam,
Through wasted years we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each pain in my heart shares a story,
Of good-for-nothing and more,
The graveyard holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through loved one gone we find our way,
By bleak new year we stand,
Though left me last night may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The crying echo far and wide,
Across the lowdown jailhouse they spread,
Where burden on my back once hide,
And hard times come fill the dead.
Let waiting fill the evening air,
Let wasted years guide our feet,
For world gone wrong gather there,
Where crossroads meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying loved one gone away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So lordy lordy and sing with me,
Let no good nohow fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The ocean shines every day,
Through river road we roam,
Where eternal hope leads the way,
And for memories never fade.
In the dawn so still,
We flow our song,
By the old oak tree on the hill,
Where valley belong.
Through broken promise we find our way,
By lone prairie we stand,
Though valley may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let sing fill the evening air,
Let distant home guide our feet,
For creek gather there,
Where old oak tree meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying faithful heart away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So sing and grow with me,
Let lost love fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Early blues 260 calls to every heart,
Through true devotion we go,
May we never pray apart,
And may our love still grow.
