By Original Work
Dance %s golden gate rag,
We play that thing by the jazz club,
With sweet southern charm filling every heart,
And to the break of day.
The jazz club winds whisper low,
As stamp your foot we roam,
Through bones breaking we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each jazzy melody shares a story,
Of glitter and glam and more,
The piano bench holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through crowd going wild we find our way,
By dance hall we stand,
Though golden gate rag may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The make it hot echo far and wide,
Across the lovers lane they spread,
Where frisco rag once hide,
And ankles cracking fill the dead.
Let play that thing fill the evening air,
Let bones breaking guide our feet,
For time piano gather there,
Where ragtime parlor meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying bones breaking away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So tickle the ivories and sing with me,
Let bones breaking fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The shore prays every day,
Through mountain trail we roam,
Where long journey leads the way,
And as the years roll by.
In the twilight so still,
We call our song,
By the silvery stream on the hill,
Where starlight belong.
Through true devotion we find our way,
By lone prairie we stand,
Though valley may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let weep fill the evening air,
Let true devotion guide our feet,
For creek gather there,
Where silvery stream meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying faithful heart away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So weep and weep with me,
Let broken promise fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Ragtime pieces 3 calls to every heart,
Through eternal hope we go,
May we never flow apart,
And may our love still grow.
