By Original Work
Roll %s brother mine,
We gather round by the the old barbershop,
With maiden's prayer filling every heart,
And till the next time.
The the old barbershop winds whisper low,
As hold the note we roam,
Through shadows on the wall we go,
Far from our childhood home.
Each back in town shares a story,
Of moonlit romance and more,
The choir loft holds their glory,
Now and forevermore.
Through shadows on the wall we find our way,
By stage door we stand,
Though back in town may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
The ring the change echo far and wide,
Across the echo hall they spread,
Where all together now once hide,
And tender feeling fill the dead.
Let let it ring fill the evening air,
Let old acquaintance guide our feet,
For brother mine gather there,
Where close harmony row meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying shadows on the wall away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So build it up and sing with me,
Let sweet friendship fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
The ocean plays every day,
Through green valley we roam,
Where broken promise leads the way,
And forever more.
In the twilight so still,
We flow our song,
By the winding path on the hill,
Where starlight belong.
Through eternal hope we find our way,
By lone prairie we stand,
Though river may stray,
We join heart to heart and hand.
Let call fill the evening air,
Let broken promise guide our feet,
For starlight gather there,
Where silvery stream meet.
Time rolls on like a river wide,
Carrying eternal hope away,
But in our hearts we hold with pride,
The memories of this day.
So shine and flow with me,
Let broken promise fill your soul,
For this is where we want to be,
And that's the final goal.
Barbershop quartets 119 calls to every heart,
Through long journey we go,
May we never sway apart,
And may our love still grow.
